We began this journey with a desire to create a safe place to investigate Jesus and spiritual issues without the pressure of having to look, act or talk a certain way. The Well is a place where you can be yourself.
You are loved. Want to know what's so good about the Good News? It's that it's good news for everybody. It meets us where we're at and tells us who we are. Loved. We are all equal in the sight of God. His love for us is not based on who we are, but is completely based on who He is.At The Well, as you encounter Jesus, you will hear over and over again how much you're loved. That is who you are. Loved.
You are not alone. At times it definitely feels that way though, doesn't it? We all face similar life situations and struggles. Whether you are in the thick of it with young kids, are tired from long work hours and the pressure to keep pushing, deal daily with the pain of loss and loneliness, or whatever unique struggle you may be facing… you are not alone. The Well is a place where you will encounter real people of all ages who face the same things. We do not try to hide behind a charade of perfection. We are all broken but our story doesn’t end there.Remember that you're not alone.
We are made for relationship. No matter who you are or where you're coming from we want to connect with you and get to know you.We also want to connect you with others and connect with our neighbours. Our desire is to help make Binbrook the best community to live in! We need one another and together we can bring hope to our community, our nation and the world.
Generosity doesn’t mean merely being generous with what we have, but with who we are. We desire to be generous with our time, our possessions, our talents and gifts. We hope an attitude of generosity will spread beyond the walls of our church and overflow into our community. Our hope is that The Well will be a place you encounter generosity which helps inspire your own generosity to a world that desperately needs what you have to offer.
We are committed to being a place of rest. Life is busy and we all carry the weight of demands and expectations. We want to be a community that invites you to step off the treadmill of life so that you can recharge, refocus, and be present to enjoy life.We want to learn together how to posture ourselves and our families in such a way that we are able to receive the real rest that Jesus offers. Instead of allowing striving, busyness and doing to drive our days, we can be motivated from a place being. A place of peace and rest. The Well is a place to encounter rest.
